Gary.
I am so sorry as I did not hear about her arrival in heaven. I met her at Compass Women’s Bible study. Her zest for life and love of God were so evident.I always enjoyed going out to lunch with her!
I reached out on October 6 of last year. Your daughter stated that she didn’t want to talk at that time. I told your daughter to tell her that I loved her and was praying.
I know that this is late, and even if I miss her, it is nothing compared to your feelings.

To the Venner Family,

We just learned of Kayla's passing and wanted to say how very sorry we were to hear this sad news.
We knew Kayla from Carroll Elementary.  Two of my children had her for first grade and I volunteered in her classroom.  She is fondly remembered by all my family.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this difficult time.

Gary it made me so sad to hear about the loss of your beautiful Kayla. I am so glad that I got to know the both of, and that you were able to provide her and your family with a really good life. You were lucky to have each other.  God bless you old friend. 

Kayla always made everyone feel welcome.  In fact, she had to be the 
ultimate Sweetheart.  I found it interesting that she graduated from L. D. Bell High School just one year before I became a teacher at Bell.  I would have loved to have had Kayla in my class.  God Bless Gary and the Family.  Neal Fitzgibbons
     

I remember the day I met her. Gary and I were walking across campus, and he said, “she that girl right there - that’s my girlfriend.”  I said, “in your dreams, Venner.”  Well, I found out quickly dreams do sometimes come true. Kayla was a beautiful dream come true.

I'm so sorry Kayla has been called home so soon.  I know how much she means to you and all who know her.  My deepest sympathy to you, Morgan and Colton.  You have all been in my thoughts and prayers, along with Kayla. 
This made me think of Kayla.  She has always been such a beautiful person inside and out.

There are no words to express how sorry I am to hear this..I was so hoping there would be a miracle and she would get better. Kayla was by far one of the nicest warmest sweetest people that I have ever met...she always greeted us at the front desk with a bright smile showing sincerity  and a kindness and a sense of humor that I know I have never been given especially from a GM's wife.

She is gone way too soon..and I am so sad for her family.

I only had a handful of conversations with Kayla. I didn’t know her very well. 

But I know Colton well and he is a special person… as a man, a friend, and most importantly, a child of God. 

I know that he is who he is, in large part, because she was who she was. That in and of itself tells me she was a very special person too. 

I pray that God’s peace surrounds her family and that they find rest in it. 



Kayla was, without question, the best teacher my son ever had. I was in awe of her ability to motivate her students while also making them feel loved and important. Charlie still talks how special his 2nd grade year was. I am so sorry for your loss. My condolences to your family.

Gary, there are no words that can express our deepest sorrow for the passing of your wonderful wife, and  friend, our most sincere condolences to you and your family . Kayla was a dear friend to Marge and I, her smile was ever present, her heart was so filled with compassion for everyone around her ,and she radiated that love that filled the room wherever she was . She showed so many what truly matters in this world, a heart for others, a love of life. This world will be less beautiful, the color a little less vibrant ,and the light a little dimmer without her presence.

We went to church with Gary and Kayla at Glenview about 20 years ago.  Kayla was always a ray of sunshine.  She loved everyone and was just the kindest, sweetest person.  We were new to the church and she made us feel so welcome.  She always demonstrated the love of Jesus in all that she did.  She was a wonderful person.
