Kevin Lawrence Hammond, 64, passed away peacefully at home on August 12, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Myron and Deanna. Kevin was known for always seeking his next adventure; whether traveling, riding in helicopters, or riding motorcycles, he always wanted to have as much fun as possible. When he did take time to relax, you could find him admiring lakes and oceans every chance he had. Kevin served in the Navy and was a longtime employee at Southwest Airlines, where he held various roles during his 34-year tenure, a career he loved and made many lifelong friends. His brother, Scott; sister-in-law, Jill; nieces, Elizabeth Hammond and Meagan and Cliff Lewis; great-nephew, Coy, and great-nieces Gabriella and Camille; and several extended family members survive him.
A memorial service for Kevin will be held Thursday, August 29, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 5725 Colleyville Blvd., Colleyville, TX 76034.
