Mr. Larry Smith

Larry will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, friend, colleague, and mentor to all that knew and loved him. He was born on January 22, 1948, in Shreveport, Louisiana to Claudie and Annie Mae Smith.

Larry was a mentor and friend to those who had the pleasure of knowing him and the opportunity to work with him. Larry loved the Lord, he was a very spiritual Leader and always teaching others about the Lord. Larry served his country in the U.S. Navy with Honors. He worked with Masterguard now known as Global Health and Safety as a Regional Director for the last 48 years. Larry had an amazing work ethic and set a bar for everyone who knew him. His tough expectations kept us all moving forward to succeed him.

Larry Lee Smith is survived by his wife Patricia Smith of Westlake Texas, his son, Stacy Smith of Fort Worth, Texas, Daughter, Lori Ferchaud and husband Jason Ferchaud of Fort Worth, Texas, Son, Daniel Lee Smith and wife Jessica Smith of Fort Worth, Texas, and grandchildren Melinda Cheyney, Raelynn Smith, Dylan Smith, Danica Smith, Greyson Smith, Elijah Ferchaud, and Scarlett Ferchaud. He was preceded in death by his father Claudie Lee Smith and his mother Annie Mae Kennedy-Smith.

Due to Covid-19, we will not be holding a visitation. The Funeral Service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, November 8th, 2020 at The Met Church. A private burial will follow.
