Lawrence Rayburn Smith

Celebration of his life service will be held at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel, on Monday, July 7, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will be on Sunday from 5pm to 8pm at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home,5725 Colleyville Blvd.,Colleyville, Texas.

Larry was born September 10, 1962, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Helen Lane Smith Wenzel and Hugh Franklin Smith. He married Debbie Hueneburg March 26, 2005 in Texas. He was a graduate of Richland High School, attended Sam Houston State University and graduated from Southern Nazarene University. He was a long time employee of Blackmon Mooring and more recently worked as a Senior Loss Consultant for Loss Management Solutions.

He was an avid golfer, enjoyed fishing and hunting and spending time with his wife and daughter. He will be deeply missed by family and friends.

He was preceded in death by both his maternal & paternal grandparents.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie; one daughter, Lauren, 6; his father, Hugh Frank Smith; his mother, Helen Smith Wenzel, step father, Al Wenzel, 2 sisters, Ricki (Greg) Max and Jennifer (Michael) Norris, 3 nieces, Samantha Max, Taylor Max and Rivers Norris and one nephew, Lane Norris.
