Leslie was born on March 7, 1945 in Norristown, PA and moved to Downey, CA with her parents as a young girl where she graduated from Warren High School. Leslie was a dedicated nurse and leader in her children’s PTA. She was appointed to the Planning and Zoning Commission for the City of North Richland Hills and served several terms. Leslie enjoyed quilting and knitting, spending time at the beach, and being Grammy.
Leslie is survived by her children Timothy (Mindi), Shannon, Edie Mae (Trinidad), and Lila (Garrett); grandchildren Tiffany (Jared), Chase, Aubrey, Nicholas, Caleb, and Landen; and great-granddaughter Aurora. Husband of 43 years, John H., and son, John Andrew, precede her in death.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 30, from 1:00-2:30 pm at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home in Colleyville, TX with graveside service to follow at 3:00.
Simply stated, Leslie was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by her family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Leslie leaves behind her a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life she touched will always remember Leslie M Jauregui.
