

Linda Jennings passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at home in Flower Mound following a long battle with congestive heart failure and kidney disease. She dedicated her life to caring for others with such a kind and loving heart. Service: 3 p.m. Saturday at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5 to 7 pm Friday at the funeral home. Linda Jennings was born Lela Ethelinda White on January 5, 1928 in Cleveland, Mississippi. Previously, she lived in Midland and Grapevine. She was a member of Meadow Creek Baptist Church in Bedford for more than 20 years. Members of her Sunday school class loved her as she loved them. In Midland she was a member of Kelview Heights Baptist Church. She was a faithful and obedient child of God. She had a strong faith in the Lord and looked forward to eternity in heaven when He called her home. She was proud of earning a Midland Community College associates degree at the age of 54. Prior to that, she was busy raising a family. She was totally dedicated to her husband of 59 years, five children, 15 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Linda is preceded in death by husband, D.L. Jennings, parents, Walter and Laura Belle Hall and five brothers; Ray (Edith) White, Everett (Grace) White, Haskell (Hattie) White, Coleman (Carmela) White, Norman (Jo) White, half-brother Roy (Sadie) White, half-sisters Evelyn (Ervin) White Wadley, and Eva (Loyd) White Lowrie. Survivors: children, Kathy Brown (Ronnie) of Midland, Judy Kiddoo (Steve) of Flower Mound, Don Jennings (Kara) of Decatur, Linda Snelling (Jim) of Grapevine, David Jennings (Erica) of Denton.
