Loretta Ann Bloodworth

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Loretta (Skeeter), who left us on June 29th at the age of 82. Born on July 12th, 1942, Loretta was a cherished family member, and a friend to many.

Loretta was born in Creston, Iowa, to Floyd and Rosetta McGuire. She spent her life making a home for her husband and her children, and most of her career was spent working at H.E.B. Hospital in data entry.

Family was at the heart of Loretta's life. She married David Wayne Bloodworth on Feb 1, 1964, and together they built a loving home, raising 4 children: Katherine King, Deborah Ramsey, Anthony Bloodworth, and Daniel Bloodworth. Loretta was a dedicated parent, always present and supportive of their children's aspirations and dreams. She also cherished time spent with her grandchildren, Chanda, Tara, Brett, Taryn, Andrew, Krystle, Paige, Preston, Charity, Aaron, Devon, Madison, who brought boundless joy to their life.

Loretta's passing leaves a void that cannot be filled, but her legacy lives on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. We take comfort in the memories we hold and the impact she had on our lives.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude, a cause close to Loretta's heart.
