Mrs. Margaret J. Jacobus

Margaret Anderson Jacobus, previously of Keller, Texas passed away peacefully on Friday, April 22, 2022 at 93 years old at Advent Health-Hospice in Altamonte Springs, Florida. Margaret was born on April16,1929 in Sulphur Springs Texas.

Her Mother Della Woods Posey raised three daughters Erma Boatright and Jean Gammon. Della moved her girls to Dallas as she was pursuing her nursing licensing. Margaret graduated from North Dallas High School in 1947. She started her career in the insurance business in downtown Dallas at United Fidelity Life Insurance. While working downtown she met and married Charles “Charlie” Anderson on July 3, 1948. They were married for 34 years when Charlie passed on November 10,1984. Her second career was working as a school secretary for the Dallas Independent School District until she retired. She remarried on July 8, 1989 to Charles “Chuck” Jacobus and they resided in Keller, Texas until moving to Lake Mary, Florida in 2013. She and Chuck were able to travel the world and enjoyed life in their retirement years. Chuck Jacobus passed away in Lake Mary, FL on August 24, 2020. Margaret is survived by her only child Brenda Anderson Coble of Longwood, FL, Son-In-Law Rob Coble.

A service to celebrate Margaret will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Advent Health Foundation Central Florida-Hospice-550 East Rollins Street, Sixth Floor, Orlando, FL 32803.
