

Maria Dolores Tracy was known as many things to many people. She was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew her best, Maria will be remembered as a very exceptional person.
She was the daughter of Pete and Mary Martinez.
Maria was raised with four brothers Robert, Ricky, Raul "Bully", Ruben and two sisters, Debra and Diana. Maria was usually involved in all sorts of activities with her siblings. She and her siblings experienced rivalries typical of a growing family, but they shared many life experiences over the years.
Empathic and loyal, Maria was committed to making her new family happy.
Maria worked hard to be a good mother to her children and she did her best to fulfill their needs. Maria was blessed with, two sons, Marcello, Gilberto, and one daughter, Jessica. Another blessing for Maria was the gift of four grandchildren, Lancer, Vanessa, Victoria, and Gavin.
Fortunately, Maria enjoyed what she did for a living. Showing a strong work ethic, Maria worked diligently and did her best to succeed in her career. Her primary occupation was with the Fort Worth ISD. Maria always sought to be a team player, doing what was necessary in order to get the job done.
Maria passed away on June 12, 2016 at Lifecare of Fort Worth Hospice in Fort Worth, Texas. She is survived by her beloved husband; Gilbert Tracy, children; Marcello (Jubi) Serrano, Jessica Serrano, Gilberto Tracy Jr., grandchildren; Lancer Ojeda, Vanessa Serrano, Victoria Serrano, Gavin Serrano, father; Pete Martinez, Siblings; Robert Martinez, Ricky Martinez, Debra Blackwell, Raul “Bully” Martinez and Diana Patterson, as well as a host a extended family and friends. Services were held at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Bedford, Texas. Maria was laid to rest in the Garsen of Serenity in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville, Texas.
Simply stated, Maria was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by her family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Maria leaves behind her a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life she touched will always remember Maria Dolores Tracy.

Maria Dolores Tracy passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. Funeral Mass: Thursday, June 16, 2016 1:00 P.M. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, with burial to follow at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation to commence 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. prior to the service at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. Maria was born on October 28, 1954 to Pete and Mary Martinez in Dallas, Texas. Maria was a strong, outgoing woman who loved her husband and children more than anything. She was a sharp dressed woman matching from head to toe. You knew she was coming before she turned the corner, by the smell of her perfume. She lived her life on her own terms, and knew exactly what she wanted. Always laughing, smiling and joking. She was one of those magnetic personalities that drew everyone to her. Maria touched many lives from family to her students throughout her career with the Fort Worth ISD. She will be greatly missed by many. Those preceding Maria in death are her mother Mary Matilde Martinez and brother Ruben Martinez. We have lost a great woman on earth, but a protective angel in Heaven.
