Celebration of Life service will be at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family request donations in her name to a local city animal shelter or Mission Arlington.
Marilyn was born April 16, 1926 in Cleveland, Ohio to Harry and LaVaughn Such. She graduated from Wheaton College. For many years Marilyn hosted Good News Clubs through Child Evangelism Fellowship in her home. She delighted in teaching children about God's love and His salvation offered to them. She is also remembered by many for her 5th grade Sunday School department teachings at North Richland Hills Baptist Church. For 19 years, Marilyn served her community as the children's librarian at Hurst Public Library.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents and her brother.
Survivors: Husband of 63 years, Hal; her 3 children and their spouses, Doug and Lisa Beldon, Denise and Tim McGraw and Diane and Paul Robertson; 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
