Mrs. Marilyn Novak

She is preceded in death by her dear husband of 57 years, William B Novak, Jr., her parents, Graham Curtis Myrick and Dorothy Davis Myrick and her sisters Barbara Miller and Susan Atkinson.

She is survived by her daughter, Diane Novak Calvert, her husband Jim and their children Alex T. Calvert, Jeff G. Calvert and Madelyn D. Calvert. She is also survived by her son, Ben Novak, his wife Nancy and his children Natalie Van Zyl, her husband Kyle and their son Dillan, and Harrison Novak and his wife Melissa.

Marilyn was one of three beautiful daughters who grew up in Highland Park, Texas where she graduated from Highland Park High School in 1957. She lived most of her life in Colleyville, Texas and served as the Executive Assistant to the Pastor at the First Baptist Church in Euless, Texas for many years. There she assisted Bill Anderson, Jimmy Draper and Claude Thomas in delivering the good news of Jesus Christ. She had a diverse set of interests and was a talented painter, pianist and even a licensed pilot. Marilyn, most importantly, was a faithful Christian her entire life and met God clothed in the righteousness of Jesus Christ. The family is eternally grateful for that.

Funeral Service: 1:00pm at Cross City Church, 1000 W Airport Fwy, Euless, TX 76039. Graveside gathering at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park at 3:00pm
