

A Mass of Christian Burial will commence at 10 a.m. Monday at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, 7341 Glenview Drive, Richland Hills. Interment: Mrs. McGehee will be laid to rest in the Garden of Legacy at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: Friends are invited to gather for a time of sharing memories and to visit with the family 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the Cherry Drawing Room at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, 5725 Colleyville Blvd., Colleyville.
Mrs. McGehee was born July 20, 1936, to John and Ann Komenda in Everson, Pa. She married Jim McGehee in 1956. Together they had three children. Marlene and Jim loved to travel and were able to see the world together. Marlene's favorite place was Florence, Italy. Most of all, Marlene loved her family and especially loved her grandchildren and the time they spent together. Mrs. McGehee was a devout Catholic and enjoyed being active in her church.
Mrs. McGehee was preceeded in death by her parents, John and Ann Komenda, and her daughter, Diane Ducote.
Mrs. McGehee is survived by her loving husband, Jim McGehee; son, Doug McGehee and wife, Natalie; daughter, Deirdre Marek; brother, Jack Jomenda; grandchildren, Kristina Ducote, Erin, Brendan and Allyson McGehee, Bret, Ryan and Amy Marek; and great-grandson, Brennen Loupe.
