Melanie graduated from UTA and received a BS from UTA- Arlington. She had a professional career as a Mechanical Engineer with Clara Abbott Laboratories.
She was the head of a loving family and had a passion for architectural design, as well as helping anyone she could.
Melanie is survived by her children Rachel, Aaron, Philip, and Matthew. Along with her mother Myrtis, her sister Christina, her brother Samuel, and her nieces, Aloha, Winona, and Amaris, as well as five great nieces and three great nephews.
