Mr. Michael Alan Tout

Michael was born on January 6, 1952 in Presque Isle, Maine to Ida Elizabeth Dickerson Tout and Elbert Henry “Bud” Tout. He graduated from Western Hills High School in 1970 and then attended Tarrant County Junior College. He married Jennye Lou Gowler in 1972 and they had two daughters Bekah and Heather.

In the simplest terms, Mike was SUPERMAN. He was a hero to his family. He was always very handy. There was nothing he couldn’t build or fix. Anytime he and Jennye watched a “fixer up” show Jennye got an idea for him to do something else to the house or yard. He always did anything she asked, even if it was painting the outside of the house for the 15th time! He loved to watch sci-fi shows, cooking shows, and car shows. He enjoyed going to the grocery store and shopping for those deals. He would go down every aisle to make sure he didn’t miss anything. But - he made the absolute BEST breakfasts in the whole world. You can ask anyone – especially the kids that the girls ran around with in high school!

Michael is survived by his daughters Jennye Rebekah Jeane Tout Hawhee (husband Kevin) and Heather Aleyne May Tout (wife Tracy); grandchildren, Hunter (girlfriend Bettie), Hilary, Jessye, Brandon, and Garren (girlfriend Loryn); Sister Teri Jones; Brother Larry Tout (wife Linda); Sister Mary Osborne (husband Kelly); Brother Tim Tout; best friends, Bill Gibson and Cynthia Bryant, and many other family and friends.

Michael was proceeded in death by his wife of almost 49 years, Jennye, just 6 months ago, and left this world on December 31, 2021 to join her. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth and Bud Tout, sister and brother-in-law Jeannie and Charlie McMurtray.
