Michael Matthew Fernando Woolsey

Michael (fondly referred to as “Monster”) Matthew Fernando Woolsey, Age 20, passed away peacefully on Thursday July 19, 2018 at home. He was born October 21, 1997 in Arlington, Texas, to Michael and Melissa Woolsey. He was a 2016 graduate of Grapevine High School. He was attending his 3rd year at SMU on partial scholarship. Michael truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting and chilling with friends and family, traveling, listening to music, gaming, cars and coffee, and snacking. Michael had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way through his outgoing personality, infectious smile, and sarcastic manner. He impacted a lot of people in his short time with us. He is survived by his parents, Michael and Melissa Woolsey of Grapevine; his grandparents, Paul and Kikkie Manginelli of Grapevine; his grandparents, Mickey and Shirlene Stoddard, of Archer City; and various aunts, uncles, and cousins. Family, friends, and others whose lives Michael touched are welcome to celebrate his life, to reminisce, grieve, comfort and support each other and, of course just chat.
