N.T. Williams, Jr (Tom) of Bedford, TX passed away on March 18, 2024 at the age of 87 years. He was born on October 16, 1936 in Denver, CO.

As a child, he enjoyed spending time with his Grandpa O’Riley riding trains. He was in the ROTC at Arizona State University and upon graduation in 1958 he enlisted in the Air Force where he served as a helicopter pilot until he was honorably discharged in October 1965. While stationed at Eielson Air Force Base in Fairbanks Alaska, he assisted with rescue missions after the Great Alaskan earthquake in ’64. He retired from Bell Helicopter in 2000 where he worked in International Contracts. After retirement, he volunteered as an Ambassador at DFW Airport.

Tom enjoyed spending time with his family, playing golf, leather tooling, watching ice hockey and playing games such as cards, darts, dominoes and pool. He owned several sports cars over the years including an Austin Healy and multiple Porsches.

He was married to the love of his life Sally for 65 years, and they had four daughters: Tina Dempsey (Bryan), Kim Bell (Reggie), Mindy Williams (Janet) and Christi Rogers (Stacy). Tom is survived by his wife, four daughters and their spouses, six grandchildren, seven great-children and his sister Kathy Snyder (Allan). He was preceded in death by his father, N.T. Williams, and his mother Arline Williams.

We invite you to join the family on Saturday April 13th between 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home in Colleyville to celebrate Tom’s life.

Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers can be donated to American Cancer Society or St. Jude’s Hospital.
