Patsy Ruth Iles, age 87, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 21, 2016. She is preceded in death by her husband, Aubra Lee Iles and her parents Jack and Loveta Montgomery. Survivors include her three children, Susan Strouse and her husband Bill, Beth Dixon and her husband David, and Thomas Iles and his wife Terri; 7 grandchildren; Tamera White and her husband Tal; Missi Crain and her husband Luke, Brandon Strouse, Allen Dixon and his wife Karibe, Lauren Holland and her husband Chris, Matthew Iles and his wife Shanna; and Mitchell Iles and his wife Lindsey; 10 great grandchildren and the smallest member of the family, her dog Lily.
Patsy was born in Fort Worth and lived in the Fort Worth and mid-cities area for most of her life. Her primary focus in life was her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She loved to cook and loved traveling. She travelled often across the U.S with her husband, but also had family vacations with her children and grandchildren in Surfside, Texas. She would rent a home and have the whole family join her yearly. Patsy was a big part of her family’s lives. She was loved and will be missed.
