

Philip was born on March 12, 1956 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was the son of Dee and Joyce Garner. Philip grew up in Fort Worth, Texas.
Philip graduated from Trinity Valley High School in Fort Worth, Texas.
After graduation Philip attended Baylor University and then finished his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1978. He later went on to receive his MBA from Southern Methodist University in 2006.
Throughout his working career, he was a Professional Landman, working for his father in the oil business. Later he worked at General Dynamics for three years and then at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics for 25 years.
Philip passed away on October 20, 2016 in Grapevine, Texas. He is survived by his wife and two daughters. Services were held at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Colleyville, Texas.
Within his lifetime, Philip always volunteered time to help others. His family has fond memories helping at the Special Olympics every year. He had also donated 14 gallons of double red blood through Carter Blood Care before his diagnosis last November. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family.
