

Relice Kern (RK) Daniel (1942 – 2025) passed away peacefully on July 11th, 2025, in Saginaw, Tx and made his entrance into Heaven. RK married his beloved wife, JoAnn, on May 2, 1963, and together they raised 7 children (John, Lonnie, Elizabeth, Cheryl, Stephen, Michael and Judie)
RK was born in Long Beach, California on January 1, 1942, to Nolan and Marcella Daniel. They moved to Fort Worth in 1944-45 where RK attended Trimble Tech High School. RK began his career as a machinist and retired from Bell Helicopter in 2007 after 25 years of service.
RK was passionate about Music and his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The 2 would remain a major part of his life until his passing on July 11th. RK was known for his humor, quick wit, honesty and enormous love for his family. He served as a Sunday School Teacher and was a mentor to many. RK and JoAnn moved to Blue Mound, Tx in 1970 where they have lived in the same house for 54 years.
RK is survived by his wife of 62 years, JoAnn; his children John (Patti), Lonnie (Sheila), Elizabeth, Cheryl (David), Michael (Tiffany) and Judie (Daniel); 15 Grandchildren, 20 Great Children and 2 Great-Great Child; Brother Bill (Linda) and Uncle Wayne.
RK was preceded in death by his parents Nolan Daniel and Marcella Stimpson, son Stephen Daniel, grandson Joshua Daniel and brother Jerry Daniel.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, 7/22/25 at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home in Colleyville, Tx. Visitation will be at 1pm, Funeral Service 2pm and Burial at 3pm (All at Bluebonnet Hills)
RK’s kindness, generosity, and love for his family will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
