

Reva Cox Rigsby, also known as ma-maw, of Watauga, Texas made her heavenly journey on August, 3rd, 2024 at the age of 92. Reva was born to Alfred Cox & Rachel Cummins Cox in Crawford County Kansas on December 14th, 1931. She had two siblings, Flora Cox Ogle of Wichita Kansas and Frank Cox (deceased).
Reva's service will take place on Friday, August 9th at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 5725 Colleyville Blvd. Colleyville, Texas. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. and will be followed by Reva's Celebration of Life at 11 a.m. She will be laid to rest at noon.
Reva was employed at Montgomery Ward in Pampa, Texas for 20 years. She served as head counselor at Texas Church of God Youth Camps for several years and was the Church of God district youth director for the Texas panhandle for quite some time. She also taught several age groups in Sunday School classes.
Reva is survived by a daughter, Gayla Rigsby Horner, of Watauga, Texas. A son, James "Jim" Rigsby (Gail) of Cleveland, Tennessee. Grandchildren Jennifer Horner Hardwick (Jon) of North Richland Hills, Texas. Jonathan Rigsby (Sharee) of Mountain House, California. Justin Horner of Weatherford, Texas. And Jessica Rigsby Frazier (Jared) of Cleveland, Tennessee. She had 10 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, James Rigsby. Both parents, her stepmother, Jessie Cox, and her brother Frank Cox.
