Born in Lolita, Texas to Susie Mae and Robert Lee Page II on March 23, 1932. Robert graduated from Forest High School in Dallas, Texas and continued his education at Kilgore Junior College on a football scholarship. He was drafted and served in Korea for two years with the US Army. Robert received numerous metals and commendations while serving.
Robert married Lou Ann (Holsomback) Page on May 15, 1963. They resided and raised their 2 children, Guy and Dawn in Euless, Texas since that time. Robert worked for Braniff Airways which became Dalfort Aviation for over 25 years from which he retired in 1992. He was a beloved husband, father, and Poppy that devoted his life to his family. His involvement with his grandchildren’s lives was among his greatest joys in his later years. Robert loved to work out daily and continued to do this as long as he was able. He was honorable, charismatic, gentle, kind and had a great sense of humor. Robert also enjoyed being involved with his Sunday School class at First Baptist Euless (now Cross City Church), where he and his wife attended for fifty years. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
A celebration of his life will occur at Cross City (First Baptist Euless) on Saturday, December 7th at 10:30 am. His final resting place will be D/FW National Cemetery in Arlington, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory can be made to Community Hospice of Fort Worth or Southwestern Theological Seminary.
