Robin was born June 17, 1956 in Fort Worth, TX to Grady Lee and Hazel Lorraine Floyd. She grew up in Hurst, TX. She graduated from L.D.Bell High School in 1974. Robin worked several years at various jobs before being employed by Powell Electronics where she worked for almost 25 years as an inside salesperson.
Robin enjoyed photography in her younger years and took many pictures; now memories to cherish. She was a good cook and enjoyed cooking when time permitted. She had a love for dogs and had several over the years, but she had a yellow lab in recent years named Dixie that was her buddy and her favorite.
Robin loved her family. She especially loved her son Bryan and her granddaughter Jordan who loved her and will miss her most of all.
Robin was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her son, Bryan Shafer, granddaughter, Jordan Shafer; brother, Richard Floyd; sisters, Nancy Groze and Carolyn Hames, and several nieces and nephews.
