Roy Verle Wilson

Roy was born on September 5, 1938 to Oscar and Viola Wilson in Souix Rapids, Iowa. Roy was a man of many talents enjoyed fishing, sports, coaching little league but most importantly being a devoted father and husband to his family. He was a long time member of Peace Lutheran Church in Hurst, Texas.

Roy is preceded in death by his father; Oscar Wilson, brothers; Keith Wilson, Bruce Wilson, and sister Carol Schmidt. He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years Prisscilla Wilson, mother; Viola Wilson, children; Roy Wilson Jr., Debbie Lain (Terry), and Dawn Brooks (Asa), grandchildren; Dustin, Sondra, Michaela, Kendra, Amanda, Kinsey and Shelby, great-grandchildren; Cameron, Cody, Cheyanne, Atreyu, Dante, Amara, Winrhey and Anson, siblings; Rose Nutting (Rick), Ralph Wilson (Vicki), and Dale Wilson (Raylene), brother-in-law and best friend; Jim Stevens and a host of extended family and friends.
