Stephanie Anne Newsome

Stephanie Anne Newsome, age 47, of Colleyville, Texas passed away on August 28, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Plantation, Florida on August 12, 1977, to Jim and Cheryl Racco. She grew up in Uniontown Ohio, where she graduated from Lake High School. Her family attended Springfield Assembly of God church.

Stephanie met Anthony, the love of her life, at Evangel University and they married on July 20, 2002. They celebrated more than 22 years of marriage, love and happiness together. Stephanie was devoted to her family and always her kid’s biggest cheerleader. She loved them well and was a fun and caring mom. Her relationship with the Lord was her priority and she lived life with purpose and grace.

She was rich in friendships and had a heart for serving. She devoted a lot of her time to mentoring young ladies and leading various groups at her church over the past twenty years. She was also passionate about her YoungLives group, the people and her horse, Gabby, at Victory Therapy Center.

She is survived by her loving husband Anthony Newsome, her children Maleina Anne Newsome, Abram Anthony Newsome, and her fur baby Molly Mae Newsome, parents Jim and Cheryl Racco, mother-in-law Vedie Newsome, sister Annette (Racco) Holland, her husband Josh and their children Ethan, Keira and Christian, brother Paul Racco and his daughter Madison Catalano. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Marilyn Kirn.

A funeral service will be held at The King's University, 2121 E Southlake Blvd, Southlake, TX on Friday, September 6, 2024, at 11am. Doors will open at 10:15 AM for viewing

A Celebration of Life will be held at Urban Fire House, 8300 Starnes Rd, North Richland Hills, TX on Saturday, September 7, 2024. Come and go reception from 1:00pm to 3:00pm.

(Parking is available across the street at Gateway NRH Campus. There will be an officer on site to assist you across the street.)
