

Stevie Duffy was known as many things to many people. He was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew him best, Stevie will be remembered as a very exceptional person.
He was the son of W.E. and Francis Duffy.
Stevie was raised with two brothers, Paul and Don and two sisters, Donna and Karyn. Stevie was usually involved in all sorts of activities with his siblings. He and his siblings shared many life experiences over the years.
Empathic and loyal, Stevie was committed to making his new family happy.
Stevie worked hard to be a good father to his children and he did his best to fulfill their needs. Stevie was blessed with one daughter, Velvet and one son, Brett. Another blessing for Stevie was the gift of five granddaughters, Marissa, Macy, Kaitlynn, Brooke, and Meagan.
Fortunately, Stevie enjoyed what he did for a living. Showing a strong work ethic, Stevie worked diligently and did his best to succeed in his career. He was the former owner of Pro-Touch Painting and Drywall. Stevie always sought to be a team player, doing what was necessary in order to get the job done.
Stevie enjoyed his leisure time by taking part in various hobbies. Steve loved fishing, golfing and playing poker. He loved to have fun and was always making people laugh, especially his five granddaughters whom he loved dearly. He was content to enjoy his favorite pastimes alone but was also willing to share his interests with others.
Stevie passed away on August 16, 2016 in Hurst, Texas. He is survived by his Wife, Diane; father, W.E. "Buddy" Duffy; children, Velvet Mora and Brett Ledbetter; granddaughters, Marissa Mora, Macy Mora, Kaitlynn Ledbetter, Brooke Ledbetter and Meagan Ledbetter; brothers, Paul and Sandy Duffy and Don Duffy; sisters, Donna and John Moxley and Karyn and Cary Patterson; as well as numerous extended family. Services were held at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Colleyville, Texas. Stevie was laid to rest in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville, Texas.
Stevie was an individual who will for all time be remembered by his family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Stevie leaves behind him a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life he touched will always remember Stevie Duffy.

Steve Edward Duffy, 66, passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2016. Service: 12:30 p.m. Friday at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home with interment to follow in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Steve Edward Duffy was born on August 9, 1950, in Fort Worth. He was the former owner of Pro-Touch Painting and Drywall. Steve loved fishing, golfing and playing poker. He loved to have fun and was always making people laugh, especially his five granddaughters whom he loved dearly. He was preceded in death by his mother, Francis Singleton Duffy. Survivors: Wife, Diane; father, W.E.
