

Thomas E Binion, of Rowlett, Texas, passed away at home on Wednesday Dec 25th after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, friend, and colleague to all that knew and loved him. He was born on December 1st 1941 in Miami Beach Florida to Thomas and Louise Binion and was the first of five brothers.
Tom spent 32 years with Delta Airlines moving up through the organization holding various positions culminating his career as District Director of Marketing in New Orleans. Tom was a member of Skål International New Orleans as well as a longtime member of the Allstate Sugar Bowl Committee in New Orleans Louisiana. Tom was an alumnus of University of Florida. Tom was an avid tennis and golf player for many years as well as enjoying getting out on the water and catching fish. He also loved the sun and was just as happy being able to sit back enjoying a good book while working on his tan.
Tom is survived by his loving wife Judy Binion of Rowlett Texas, Sons, Thomas E Binion Jr. of New Orleans, Louisiana and Christopher T Binion of Nashville, Tennessee. His two brothers John Binion and Joseph Binion of North Richland Hills Texas. Three Granddaughters and one great granddaughter as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents Thomas and Louise Binion and Brothers David and Robert Binion.
The Funeral Service will be held at 12 o’clock noon on December 31st, 2018 at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home Chapel, Colleyville, Texas 817-498-5894. Interment will follow in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.
