

Thomas was born on April 22, 1936 in Kemmerer, Wyoming. He was the son of Thomas and Mellie Davidson.
Tom was a graduate of Texas A&M University class of 1961.
Thomas exchanged wedding vows with Beverly Kay Byrd. They were married for 58 years.
Thomas worked hard to be a good father to his children and he did his best to fulfill their needs. Thomas was blessed with two daughters, Pamela and Karen and one son, Roger. Another blessing for Thomas was the gift of two granddaughters, Blake and Skylar and two grandsons, Ryan and Ryder, .
Fortunately, Thomas enjoyed what he did for a living. Showing a strong work ethic, Thomas worked diligently and did his best to succeed in his career. He was a petroleum engineer and worked with Texaco for over 33 years.
When Thomas’s retirement finally arrived in 1995, he was well prepared. Even in retirement, Thomas continued to stay in touch with his old friends while making plenty of new acquaintances. Thomas was active in his new community and felt fulfilled with the opportunities retirement offered him.
Thomas passed away on December 13, 2016 in Grapevine, Texas. Tom is survived by his wife of 58 years, Beverly Davidson; children, Pamela Kretzmer and husband, Bill, Roger Davidson, and Karen Mooneyham and husband, Rodney; granddaughters, Blake Kretzmer and Skylar Mooneyham; and grandsons, Ryan Kretzmer and Ryder Mooneyham.
Services were held at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Colleyville, Texas.
Thomas was an individual who will for all time be remembered by his family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Thomas leaves behind him a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life he touched will always remember Thomas Lewis Davidson.
