I just learned of the passing of Tom today. 
I still remember your marriage and how I was so excited and happy for you.   He will always be in your heart with many wonderful memories.

So sorry to learn of Tom’s passing.  Lived across the hall from at Kentucky Wesleyan.  Enjoyed keeping up with golf adventures over the years.

Truly one of a kind and I know he will be missed by all.

I am so very sorry to hear of Tom’s passing. He is one of the people who made me feel very welcomed at Kentucky Wesleyan College while staying there for a missions conference when I was in high school.  He was kind and funny. He always had an encouraging word and a quick smile. Because of him and other KWC students, I wound up attending and graduating from KWC.  More importantly, I met my wife there. I will never forget watching him hit golf balls over the girls dorm. When we checked they were all in a very small area in the college president’s yard. May God bless all of Tom’s loved ones with comfort and peace.

So sorry to hear. Tom was a good friend who was also kind to my two sons. We will miss him. Our best to Mary Jo.

I just want to Thank Mary Jo for bringing so much love to my brother's life. We lost our Mom at a very young age and it was very difficult for us as kids.  Mary Jo gave back the love that my brother and I had lost with the passing of our mother.  She brought him so much love and I am so blessed to have a sister-in-law like her. 
Again, Thank you Mary Jo.  Tom loved your dearly.

The day of my brother Todd's wedding.  Tommy and Vicki. Todd got married in Piqua Ohio. That was the first time I had seen Tommy and Todd in years.

Rick and Denise want to extend our warmest condolences.  We met Tom and Mary Jo thru golf almost 30 years.  We had the honor of spending time with them on many amazing golf trips and thanks to them, we met movie stars, professional athletes, professional coaches and music entertainers. I had the privilege in helping  Tom with his publishing of his book "Seeker of the Lost Swings" and his golf CD.  Tom had a special gift in teaching golf, he made it simple and fun.  Tom was wizard in doing tricks with a golf ball, he was an entertainer!   I was always amazed in the way he taught and worked with handicap golfers.  I am the golfer and person today because of Tom Ward.   RIP our friend!  We know you are in heaven giving golf lessons!  Rick and Denise Doggett

Our family lives across the street from the Wards.  I would see Tom and MaryJo on walks and riding in the car together.  They were inseparable.  Tom was always doing nice things for my kids which warmed my heart.  He made the cutest video for my son when he was little.  Our family will truly miss Tom.  Much love.  The Spence Family

I am so saddened at the loss of such a dear friend. Tom was everything that all of us should want to be.  He was loved by everyone. I know i'll see him again someday and our friendship will pick up and it will last for eternity.

Tom was such a loving husband to Mary Jo, a dear friend of mine.  He was always so full of life and always had a smile on his face! He will be missed tremendously by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Tom was my second cousin.  I did not know him as an adult.  We would however, communicate by phone and through email where I would share information about his mother’s family.  Barbara, his mother was my cousin and we shared the same family house for a number of years.  After she was married she had three children.  She and her family would come back to my hometown to visit. Tom was a little boy at the time and I was a teenager.  We kind of bonded and I thought he sorta looked up to me as a big brother.
It wasn’t until his mother had passed that I began to follow his career.   He was obviously quite accomplished’ not only as a golfer but as a mentor as well.  I feel a sense of family pride for a journey that has touched so many lives.
Toward the end, I stayed in contact with him and Mary Jo.  I know he will be greatly missed by his immediate family and I wish them and his remaining sibling Vicki growing strength in the memories he has provided.
Thanks Tommy for sending me the many golf columns you have written over the years.

We’ve lived next to Tom and Mary Jo for 7 years. Tom was the brightest joy of our community. He was always bringing treasures and autographed Disney photos to our children, who cherish them to this day. I will never forget the way Tom would ALWAYS slow down and roll down his window while me and the children were out walking the neighborhood. He would take time out of his day to wave to the kids and just say hello and check in. Our entire neighborhood is devastated! He will be greatly missed. -The Wilkins Family

I was one of his nurses. He was such a joy to take care of. Telling many stories and was always very positive. He brought many smiles to everyone he encountered. Condolences and love to your family Mr. Ward! Tee time with the big man! Rest in Peace!

My fondest of memories of Tom was hanging out with him and other friends. Was a blast playing basketball, nerf basketball at his house.  Watching movies with him. Remember him listening to The Beach Boys.

Tom will be missed by many people.  Our grandsons had the privilege of taking golf lessons from Tom.  He put up a brave battle to try and defeat his illness.  RIP

Tom was a loyal friend to many, many people, especially in the world of golf. He was friendly, happy and a lot of fun to be around. Everyone liked and respected him.  A master of the game of golf, he was always willing to share his skills and wisdom. During his journey of fighting cancer, he would always answer my calls when he probably did not feel like talking and he kept an upbeat, positive attitude until the end, mostly due to his love of Christ.  I will miss you, but I am grateful for the fond memories of our friendship.  May light perpetual shine upon you.
