Vincent Joseph Kane

He was born in New York City on May 15, 1931, yo Vincent Joseph Kane Sr. and Seraphina(Sarah) Tortoricci. On December 1, 1958 he married Joy E. Carrell. They had 2 children.

During the Korean War, Vince was in the Air Force based in North Africa as a Navigator/Bombardier on B-36 Bombers. He was honorably discharged on April 18, 1957 with the rank of First Lieutenant.

After the Air Force Vince worked for Convair/General Dynamics/Lockheed. While working there he was able to travel to Japan, Korea, England, France, Belgium, Turkey and Israel.

Vince was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Hurst. Where he taught Sunday School for many years, served as Sunday Superintendent and on the Board of Trustees.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Joy and his children, Joy Carrell (John Yockey) of Murphy, Texas and Paul Allen Kane of Hurst.

Funeral arrangements have been made at Bluebonnet Hills in Colleyville.

Visitation will be from 6PM to 8PM on Thursday, March 28. Funeral will be Friday, March 29.
