

William Marler Jr. passed away on September 6th, 2020 at his home in Hurst, Texas at the age of 93. He will always be remembered as a loving grandfather, friend, and colleague to all that knew and loved him.
Bill was born on June 3rd, 1927 to William and Annie Marler in Houston, Mississippi. Bill joined the army and was a proud World War II veteran. He married the love of his life Nancy Jane on August 16th, 1963. They shared 25 years of blissful marriage. At the age of 65, Bill retired as an engineer from Bell Helicopter. After retirement he could often be found fishing with his wife and great-grandchildren, spending time with his family, or having a laugh with his friends at their daily lunch outings. He was a kind man who was known to do anything for his family.
He has survived by his Granddaughter Kimberly Veitenheimer and husband Bradley of Windhurst, Texas; Great-grandchildren Craig Flippin and wife Melinda of Hurst Texas, Kaci Moyers and husband Royce of Childress Texas, Jamie Berend of Henrietta Texas; Great-great-grandchildren Rylyn Moyers, Rylan, Tristan, and Jessa Mae Flippin, and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents William Marler Sr. and Annie Hill Marler and his loving wife Nancy Jane Marler.
The visitation will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 13, 2020 at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, September 14, 2020 at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.
