A service celebrating Mike's life will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. Interment: Mr. Norrell will be laid to rest in the Garden of Meditation in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Friends and family are invited for a time of visitation noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Mike to Cook Children's Medical Center.

Mike was born Jan. 1, 1952. He attended Grapevine High School, where he met and married his high school sweetheart of 43 years, Lynette Roderick Norrell.

He was preceded in death by his son, Neely; father, William; mother, Arlie; and sister, Neate.

Mike is survived by his wife; daughter, Hayli and her husband, Leland Gorrell; grandsons, Yancey, Yaeger and Adam; siblings, Carol, Donnie and Steve; extended family; and many friends.
