Please join us as we celebrate and remember the life of William Shirrell Sparks on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home and Memorial Park, located at 5725 Colleyville Blvd., Colleyville, Texas. We will start his service at 12:30p.m. in the Memorial Chapel and then proceed to the Memorial Park for his burial. At the age of 81, our Lord called Shirrell home on August 5, 2017. Shirrell is survived by his wife of 59 years, Barbara Sparks. Together they built a loving family including their daughters and husbands, Renee’ and Rusty Templeton and Cindy and Mark Hoke. He is greeted in heaven by his son, Mark David Sparks. He was papaw to three grandchildren and nine great grandchildren and known as Sparky to his friends. Let us raise our voices as Shirrell loved to do in praise to our Lord for a life well lived on earth, and the renewal awaiting heaven.
