A native of Hamilton, Ontario, Andrew was the self-appointed “Jack of All Trades and Master of None.” His energy was contagious and his laughter was infectious. It’s true he never met a stranger he didn’t like. He was an amateur hunter, could fix just about anything around the house, and loved cooking with his two young children.
His understanding of people and mastery in deal-making made him brilliant in his role as Director of Strategic Sourcing at Monogram Foods in Memphis. Prior to his time at Monogram, Andrew traveled the world in roles of increasing responsibility with Nestle. His most crowning achievement, however, was convincing his wife, Kate, to marry him.
Andrew will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Kate and their children, Emma and Preston; his parents, Arnold and Janet (neé Priems) of Ancaster, Ontario, his brothers, Scott (Leanne), and Patrick; and sister, Robin Silverthorne (Dave), along with numerous nieces and nephews who will remember Andrew for his love of family and his joyful attitude.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in his honor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.
