Betty Jean Blackard

Betty Jean Lewis Blackard, 80, passed away May 29, 2022. She graduated from Collierville High School and retired from Constar with more than 30 years of service. In her spare time she enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Edward Lewis and Mary Bradford Lewis; a son, Joe Louis Blackard and a grandson, Jason Bradley Denman.

She is survived by daughters, Brenda Gale Moses (Mark) and Teresa Jean Smith (David); sons, Jimmy Ray Smith and J.L. Blackard (April); grandchildren, Latisha, Kelly, Randall, Gary, Joseph, Crystal, Emily, Matthew, Samantha, Kaitlyn, Reagan, and Angel; sisters, Frances Spicer (Daniel) and Ruby Jacks (Tommy) and a brother, Henry Lewis (Beverly).

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday June 1 at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church Fisherville Cemetery, 11893 Macon Road, Eads, Tennessee 38028.
