I just found out about Brad’s passing. I am in shock.  He was my mentor at Cub Foods and taught me so much.

I left Cub to start a new career in property management ... I hated the new job!  I called Brad crying and asked him to let me come back to Cub.  He advised me to stick it out for awhile ... transitions are always hard.  Well, as usual Brad was correct ... I’ve enjoyed a long career in property management thanks to his advice ... changed my life!

I have reread this message over and over .... Brad never did like those typos!  I will never forget you Brad Bacon ... RIP.

I had the opportunity to get to know the Bacon family back in the early 70's when Brad was 17 to 18 years old. Even back then you could see he was planning on going places. He had so much charisma I had no doubt he would be successful in what ever he did. Brad had a way of drawing you in like he had a secret to share with his eyes twinkling and a mischievous smile. He loved his family immensely and was a very kind and generous soul that is going to be missed. Our heartfelt condolences go out to his "bride" Wendy and the entire Bacon family for their great loss.

This is a time to remember and honor Brad and the wonderful person he was. No matter where you are physically everyone is together in their hearts with respect, love and gratefulness that Brad walked with all of us on this earth. As He waits in Heaven for  us  to join him Tom and I are humbled to have so many fun and warm memories of Brad to keep close to our hearts. He and his 'Bride' Wendy were a team that together with their faith and dedication to family make this world a better place.  Our hearts break for your loss and pray that Jesus hold you all close through grief's journey. May God bless your family with peace and grace in this difficult time. Brad was such a sweet man who absolutely loved his family.   He always referred to Wendy as his “bride” whenever he spoke of her.  He was absolutely in love with his grandsons and couldn’t wait to move back to Tennessee to be close to them and his much loved daughter, Brittany.  He spoke at length of his work and his beautiful family and was so proud of both.  He was very loved and will be missed by all who knew him.

We've known Brad and Wendy for many years and really enjoyed the time we were able to spend together when they they lived near us in Traverse City.  When we think of Brad, we think of a wonderful, high energy, welcoming man with a smile so infectious that it was literally impossible not to smile along with him. He had the ability to brighten the lives of those of us who were privileged to know him.

Our hearts go out to Wendy and her terrific family. Brad will truly be missed.

I had the pleasure of working with Brad at Cub Foods in Columbus, OH. Brad had outstanding business acumen and great interpersonal skills. He was the best strategic thinker that I ever worked with. He was also a true gentleman and treated everyone like a friend. I learned a tremendous amount from Brad and I used what I learned from him almost daily. Thank you Brad for your friendship and Rest In Peace my friend. 

I am so deeply saddened by your loss.  My memories of Brad and the Bacon Family will always live in my heart. We shared so many wonderful experiences together with our families and as good friends. Brad had such a dynamic personality and I looked up to him. My heart aches for the Bacon Family.

Our sincerest sympathies to Wendy and family.   I worked with Brad at Tops markets in Cleveland, Ohio years ago.  He was an outstanding leader with compassion, utmost professionalism and a real commitment to his   team and the thousands of people in the company.   He remains in my mind and heart as one of the best human beings I've ever worked with. On a personal level, we enjoyed times with Brad and Wendy at social gatherings as well.
A true gentleman with a personality like no other.

We were lucky enough to be neighbors of Brad and Wendy in Florida and saw them often.  We both can say that we have never met finer, nicer, kinder, more generous, helping and loving people as them and their family.  The world was a better place because of them. Wendy and family, we LOVE you and MISS  the both of you so much. You made living here so much nicer. May Brad's memory be a blessing to you, may you find comfort in family, friends and community which love you so very much. Jack & Judy Miller, sons and of course Heshy who really had a special relationship with Brad as you know.

My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.  I had the privilege of working with Brad at Office Depot and enjoyed many conversations and words of wisdom he would share with me.
