She was born in Paducah Kentucky in 1935 to Robert and Margaret Wadeking. Upon graduating high school, she attended University of Memphis. She graduated with a degree in Education and Psychology and was a proud member of Mensa. After graduation, Carol attended a Shelby County Republican Party function and met her husband of 57 years, John K. Boyle, Jr. In the early 70’s, she opened Raleigh Montessori School, the first of its kind in the Memphis area. Throughout her life Carol enjoyed painting, Bingo, Suduko, Crossword puzzles, Jigsaw Puzzles and was an avid investor in the stock market. Her best role was being a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Wadeking and Margaret Winfield Wadeking; her husband John Boyle, Jr. and son, John Boyle III.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving son, Jayme (Kristen) Boyle; brother, Bobby (Sue) Wadeking; daughter-in- law, Sandy Boyle; 5 grandsons, Ashton Boyle, Lucas Boyle, Zachary Boyle, James Fluhr and David (Veronica) Boyle; and two granddaughters, Allie and Anniston Boyle.
Celebration of Life services will be held at Incarnation Catholic Church, 360 Bray Station Rd, Collierville, Tennessee on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 beginning with a visitation from 10:00 a.m.until 11:00 a.m. Funeral Mass from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. in *St. Therese Chapel with a reception to follow the burial. The interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery, 824 S Dudley St. Memphis, Tennessee. The church will have the reception set up early for those who cannot go to the graveside service.
John and Carol once hosted a family with a child being treated at St Jude for several months in their home. In lieu of flowers, the family would love a donation to St Jude made in her honor.
