Carolyn Hilton Deyo

Carolyn Hilton Deyo, age 83 of Collierville, passed from this life to her eternal reward, Thursday, July 18th, 2013 at the Baptist Trinity Hospice House surrounded by loved ones. She was born, November 3, 1929 in Fitzgerald, GA, to the late Christopher Columbus and Lela Walker Hilton. Mrs. Deyo was a member of the Collierville First Baptist Church where she enjoyed the Community Bible Study Group and singing in the Choir. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Robert E. Deyo, a daughter, Sharon Galecki (Kenny), two sons, Robert Deyo, Jr. (Jan) and Bryan Deyo (Dan), five grandchildren, Jacob Galecki, Matthew Galecki, Courtney Ritchey, Katie Hutto, Kim Lentz and eleven great-grandchildren. A service celebrating Carolyn’s life will be 10am, Monday, July 22nd, in the T. Carl Rutledge Memorial Chapel of Collierville Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Sunday, July 21st from 6pm – 8pm at the Funeral Home. Burial will be 10am Tuesday, July 23rd, at the West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.
