Charles Gilbert Morrison, Jr.

Charles “Chuck” Gilbert Morrison, Jr., 66 years old, passed away August 18, 2017. He was born on October 27, 1950 to the late Charles and Faye Morrison of Memphis, TN. He graduated from Oakhaven High School in 1969 and married Rose Mary Nauta on February 23, 1973.

Chuck was an avid hunter, fisherman, and master of the grill. He worked for ADT Security Services for over 30 years and Security Fire for 9 years. Chuck also opened his own restaurant, “Uncle Chuck’s” in Olive Branch, MS. His crowning achievement and most proud accomplishments were being a loving husband to his wife, Rose Mary, for 44 years, and a cherished son, brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, cousin, and friend to so many.

Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Faye Morrison and his brothers, William Morrison, Dennis Morrison, and Ronald Morrison, Sr. He is survived by his wife Rose Mary, his sister, Debra Golden, daughter, Stephanie Quinn and husband Heath, sister-in-law, Sheron Morrison, three granddaughters, Shasta Carwyle, Dallas Ince, and Harlie-Rose Quinn, one great-grandson Griffin Ince, and eight nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, 8/22 at Collierville Funeral Home with funeral services conducted at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, 8/23 at Collierville Funeral Home, 534 W. Poplar, Collierville, TN 38017. Interment will follow at Southwoods Memorial Park, 5485 Hacks Cross Rd., Memphis, TN 38125.

Pallbearers will be Ronald Morrison, Jr., William Morrison, Jr., Brandon Morrison, Duke Morrison, Joey Morrison, and Steve Golden.
