

Known to most as Grant, he was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and son. He was devoted to his wife of 55 years, Margaret “Becky” Treadwell, and loved his family with his whole heart.
Grant was born on November 9, 1949, in Holly Springs, Mississippi, to the late Eugene Clifton Treadwell and Mantie Lou Jones Treadwell. He graduated from Collierville High School in 1968 and went on to serve his country in the United States Navy. Following his military service, Grant began his career with Carrier Corporation in Collierville, where he worked faithfully for 48 years before retiring in 2016.
Grant enjoyed coon hunting, spending time with his family, and cherishing every moment he was able to spend with his granddaughters, who brought him immense joy.
He is survived by his wife, Becky Treadwell; his daughter, Candice Beaschler (Greg) of Oakland, Tennessee; his granddaughters, Taylor and Bailey Treadwell of Arlington, Tennessee; Carolyn Henning (Jim) of Rossville, Tennessee; and Neita Joyner of Eads, Tennessee. He is also survived by two brothers, David Jones Treadwell (Sylvia) of Collierville, Tennessee, and George Stanley Treadwell (Linda) of Olive Branch, Mississippi.
In addition to his parents, Grant was preceded in death by his son, Robert Treadwell; three sisters, Peggy Sue Treadwell, Betty Ann Treadwell Stokes, and Sandra Kay Russell; and his brother, Robert Clifton Treadwell.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 5, 2026, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Collierville Funeral Home, 3863 Bailey Station Road, Collierville, Tennessee 38017. Burial will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Magnolia Cemetery, 435 South Mt. Pleasant Road, Collierville, Tennessee 38017.
Grant will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
