I have so many memories I can share. I remember when we would talk about anything, and the times we talked on the phone. We did what a grandma and granddaughter would do! We were pretty close, as I went to her house almost every weekend. I didn’t like missing a Saturday with her.  From staying a night at her house, to making cookies and goodies, eating peanut butter straight out of the jar, going to the park, playing games, being silly, me and my younger brothers swimming in a kiddie pool, etc.  When I was 2, I ate a whole bowl of cookie dough. I, as a two year old, felt kinda bad for making a mess on her floor. #Cuteness overload. :) Every Thursday after school, she would take me and my brother to our soccer practice. I was 7 at the time; my brother was 5. She supported us in all she could. She was always there if I wanted to talk or needed something.  If it wasn’t for her, we wouldn’t have won 2nd place.  I can’t forget to mention we played hide and seek! It was so funny we hid in her bathroom and locked the door for a cheat and good laugh. It was hard to hold the laughter in when she tried opening the door. The closet was close by, and we would hide there. We would take turns guarding the door, since there was no lock. The same goes for hiding out in the small laundry room.  Yes, there was a laundry hamper we could fit in and hide in easily.  :) Also, may I not forget we played around with the mini set of balloons she had lying around! I always had fun blowing air in them, and letting them fly into thin air. The sound they made was hilarious. Of course I felt dizzy, but I didn’t stop having the fun we would have. :) It’ll never get old. It made me very sad that it went downhill when it came to memory loss.  I would do anything to see my grandma, and to help her feel better. I was like a daughter to her. I still think of her often.  Something I’ll always remember would be that she would greet us with hugs and kisses. Love you so much, grandma; always.  -Lauren
