Gene Yeager

Gene Yeager, 73, of Collierville, passed from this life Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at his home. He was born October 11, 1942 in Michigan City, MS to the late Thomas and Nellie Gray Yeager. Mr. Yeager was retired from construction and was Methodist in Faith. He is survived by his wife: Marilyn Woodward Yeager, daughter: Nancy Berryhill (Scott), son: Scott Yeager (Monica), sister: Helen Bolden, brothers: Stanley and Jimmy Yeager, five grandchildren: Joshua Yeager, Jeremy Yeager, Ken Putt, Michael Yarbrough, Shannon Smoot and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Renee Putt and a sister, Margie Parker. The family will receive friends from 1pm - 2pm with a Celebration of Life Service at 2pm followed by a catered reception at the Collierville Funeral Home on Saturday, May 21, 2016.
