Glenda Janet Jones

After a full life of 89 years, Glenda Janet Griffin Jones passed into eternity with her Lord and Savior on January 24, 2023. She was born in Memphis, TN to William and Luverne Griffin on August 7, 1933. She was married for 53 years to her husband John Robert (deceased). She is survived by 3 daughters, Janell Grizzard (Carter), Jeannine Barganier (Glenn) and Johnette White (Mark); 4 grandchildren, Lena Anderson (Tommy), Dan Barganier (Ashley), Mark Grizzard (Christina) and Camille White (fiancé James); 5 great grand children, Madison Borries (Clancy), Mason Anderson, Dalton Anderson (Linda), Jacob Grizzard and Ethan Grizzard; and 5 great great grandchildren, Brandon, Laila, Grayson, Luke and Winston. From 1984 to 1999, she worked for Graceland where she started as a tour guide and eventually became tour guide manager. She loved her family, her friends from work and church as well as many others whose lives she touched. She will be missed by all who loved her.

Visitation will be from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday February 1 at the Collierville Funeral Home, 534 W Poplar. The funeral service will be conducted at the Collierville Church of Christ, 575 Shelton Rd, on Thursday, February 2 beginning at 11:00 A.M. Burial will take place at the West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery at 1:00 P.M.
