The oldest child of Cornell and Emma Franklin Winton and the wife of Napoleon Harvey for 63 years. She is the eldest sibling of Anderson Winton, Charlene Wiggins, Cornell III and Louise, all who preceded her in death.
She accepted Christ and was baptized in the Mt Vernon Baptist Church, Rossville, TN later uniting with the Friendship Baptist Church, Memphis, TN.
Gracie, Napoleon and Jerry were residents of Chicago, IL until they decided to return to Memphis in 1969 becoming self-employed owners of Harvey Exxon, in Memphis. In 2000 Gracie and Napoleon returned to their childhood hometown of Rossville where they resided until death.
She leaves to mourn this loss her son and only child, Jerry Winton (wife, Phyllis) of Maumelle, Arkansas and a Granddaughter, Alicia Ruth Winton also of Maumelle; a brother, Charles Bowling (wife, Patricia) of Collierville, TN and Willie James Winton of Gary, IN; Sister-in-Law, Juanita Malone Winton of Athens, AL, and Eddie Harvey of Memphis, TN; a special cousin, Rosemary Cox and several nieces, nephews, special cousins and friends.
