Jesse Eugene Bruce

Jesse Eugene Bruce, 45, of Collierville, passed away on March 13, 2016. The family will gather to receive friends on Wednesday, March 16, from 5:00-7:00 p.m., and funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 17, at Collierville Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Southwoods Cemetery. Mr. Bruce worked for several years as an EMT. He served as an Assistant Scout Master with Collierville Boy Scouts Troop #65, and he was also a Master Mason and member of the Park Avenue Lodge #362. In his spare time, Jesse loved cooking, grilling, and spending quality time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marty Bruce and Linda Watkins; his sister, Lisa Owens; and his brother, Jeffrey Owens. Jesse is survived by his wife of 18 years, Marilyn Bruce; three sons, Daniel Bruce, Zach Bruce, and Joshua Bruce; two brothers, Tony Owens and Timothy Pickern; and his step-mother, Mala Bruce.
