Jewell Arnold Fondren

JEWELL ARNOLD FONDREN, 95, peacefully passed away in her sleep on April 7, 2013. She was preceded in death in 2002 by her husband of 67 years, Harry Edmond Fondren. Her parents were the late Ernest M. and Emma Hinton Arnold. Born in 1917 in Kensett, AR, she lived and worked in Forrest City, AR. After spending 25 years in Mobile, AL, she moved to Collierville, TN to be with her daughter. She is survived by one sister, Emogene A. Moffatt of Louisville, KY; three children, Harry E. Fondren (Diane) of San Antonio, TX, Priscilla F. Turner (William J.) of Collierville, TN, and Mike Fondren (Ginger) of Nashville, TN. She enjoyed being Mimi to three grandchildren, Jonathan Turner (Deanna) of Antigo, WI, Chris Fondren and Emily Fondren of Nashville, TN. She was especially proud of her four great-grandchildren. A private graveside service will be held in Mobile, AL.
