Karen Marie Morris

Karen M. Morris, 64 of Collierville, TN passed away on Saturday, 12/21/2024 peacefully at her home surrounded by her family. After 18 months of fighting, she lost her battle with cancer. She was born November 9, 1960, in Boston, Mass to Robert and “Midge” Holzworth. She graduated Germantown High School (TN) in 1978.

In 1980, she started a career in banking as a Customer Service Representative/Financial Service Representative for Home Federal Savings and Loan and National Bank of Commerce until 1998 when she decided to retire. In 1999 she re-joined the workforce and for the next 5 years spent her time as an Accounts Manager for Delta Wholesale, Inc. until she retired for good.

On Thanksgiving Day in 1996, Karen was introduced to her husband, Todd and in June of 1999, they married and shared 25 glorious years together. During that time, she became an avid Ole Miss Rebel fan and season ticket holder. She loved her time in the Grove with her “Rebel family” during football season and traveling with friends and family throughout the years.

Karen leaves behind her husband Todd; daughter Ashley Saba (Robert) of Memphis, TN; brother Mike Holzworth (Barb) of Detroit, MI; sister Cindy Grady (David) of Chicago area; sister Pam Genovese (Mark) of Chicago area. She was also an aunt, a great aunt and a “dog mom” to Stella.

Karen was preceded in death by her son, Nicholas Camp and parents, Robert and Midge Holzworth.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, your local animal rescue facility or any charity of your choice.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. on Saturday January 18, 2025 with a Celebration of Life service at 2 p.m. at Collierville Funeral Home, 3863 Bailey Station Road, Collierville, Tennessee 38017
