Marie Pierce Joyner

Marie Pierce Joyner of Collierville, formerly of LaGrange, TN, passed away August 29, 2012. She retired from Shelby County Board of Education. She made a profession of faith as a young adult and she served her Lord as a member of Collierville First Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Harold Joyner, her daughter, Amy Cooley of Collierville; son, Clayton Joyner (Stacy) of Seattle, WA; granddaughter, Madison Marie Cooley; sisters, Bettie Wynn (Lester) of Grand Junction, TN and Annette Pierce Montesi of LaGrange; and brothers, Richard Pierce (Alma) of La Grange, Harold Pierce (Mareette) of Bartlett and Larry Pierce (Cissye) of Saulsbury, TN. The family will receive friends Saturday, September 1, from 4-7 p.m. at Collierville First Baptist Church with the service Sunday at 2 p.m. at the church with burial in Magnolia Cemetery.
