Lynn is survived by her children Craig B. Flood II, John Flood (Sandra), and Chris Flood (Amy); as well as her grandchildren Davis George, Elizabeth Rose Flood, Christian Flood and John Flood. She is preceded in death by her parents John L. and Mary Rogers Mogford and her brother Larry Mogford.
Lynn was born on October 16, 1942 in Atascadero, CA and grew up in Carrizo Springs, TX. Lynn earned her RN and later started her own pediatric home health care business, No Place Like Home. She was able to grow this company to one of the largest woman owned businesses in Memphis.
She was a kind, generous, compassionate woman very strong and allegedly stubborn. She loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She had an unmatchable and fierce love for her children and grandchildren. She was elegant and graceful and she mentored so many people simply by existing. Lynn only lived in truth and surrounded herself with so much beauty that you became a better person simply being her friend. She will be missed every day, but her legacy will continue to grow and her impact will ripple endlessly.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 2, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. with funeral services beginning at 11 a.m.
Receiving and funeral services will be in the Cartwright Chapel in Magnolia Cemetery, 435 Mt. Pleasant Road, Collierville, TN, 38017.
In addition to flowers, the family asks for donations to Le Bonheur Children's Hospital.
