Mildred J. Boyd, 90, died Thursday, September 8, 2011 in her Byhalia, MS home. Mrs. Boyd, a homemaker, was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, James D. Boyd. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Beasley; and her son-in-law, Van Beasley of Byhalia, MS. Rev. John Johnson of New Garden Baptist Church in Coldwater, MS will be officiating and Brother Mike Henry is the soloist. The family will receive friends at Collierville Funeral Home 534 West Poplar Avenue on Sunday, September 11, from 5 - 8 p.m. Funeral Services will be at Collierville Funeral Home Monday, September 12, at 2:00 p.m.
