Peggy Jean Lewis

Peggy Kennon Lewis, 78, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday May 10, 2022 at her home in Piperton. She was born October 20, 1943 to Boyd Kennon and Nettie Skelton Kennon. Mrs. Lewis was retired from Schering-Plough with 25 years of service. She loved her family and her animals, she donated to many charities, loved shopping and going to car shows with her husband or to the beach with friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Ruby Fiveash Spain and Violet Irene Kennon and her brother, Malcolm McCullough.

She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years and caregiver, Larry Lewis; daughters Tabby Massey Smith (Bubba) and Vickie Westbrook (Randy); two sons, Timmy Rooker (Kellie) and Brian Lewis (Jamie); granddaughters, Brandy Free Thompson (Nick) and Abby Rooker; grandsons, Brandon Rooker and Trey Massey and five great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Monday May 16, 2022 beginning at 1 p.m. with funeral services to begin at 2 p.m.; all in the chapel of Collierville Funeral Home, 534 W Poplar Avenue, Collierville, Tennessee 38017. Interment will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery in Moscow, Tennessee.
